Activision Blizzard is now enforcing its iron hand on a specific add-on and other mods present in Diablo IV and will be going as far as to ban players if caught using it. Diablo's latest installment is one successful release from the company, but there are certain aspects of the game that gamers need to improve, with this add-on being the answer for it.
Game modifying is a massive issue for different games, but for some, it is acceptable, but in the latest Diablo 4 game, it is a big no.
Diablo IV to Ban Players If Caught Using this Add-On
A Blizzard Community Manager has announced a new policy on the latest Diablo IV game, and it centers on preventing game modification on the title. If caught, players could face a ban from the moderators and the system, citing the Blizzard EULA (End-User License Agreement) which gamers are made to agree with at the start of the game.
However, the Community Manager focused on this specific add-on called "TurboHUD4," one that is considered illegal technology to use for the game.
It is widely known that TurboHUD4 brings several quality-of-life improvements to the game that players ask for, and Blizzard either not including or is slow to apply for the title. Examples include more detailed maps or missed item counters says ComicBook Gaming.

Mods Are Also Prohibited for Diablo 4
Apart from this specific add-on, other forms of game modifying are also prohibited, as they are considered illegal software to change Diablo IV's base game codes.
"The Blizzard EULA explicitly prohibits cheating, bots, hacks, and any other unauthorized software which automates, modifies, or otherwise interferes with the game. This is important to players' security as well as the game's long-term integrity."
Blizzard's Diablo Franchise
Diablo is one of Blizzard's most famous franchises in its list, alongside the similar RPG title, World of Warcraft, and it has been celebrated by gamers for a long time. Its latest release, Diablo IV, garnered massive sales in its release, as it has been long-awaited by gamers, especially with the new experiences and story it offers.
Many gamers are known for speed-running Diablo games and trying out different characters to complete the experience. However, with the latest title, the Game Associate Director, Joe Piepiora, claimed that it would not be a breeze with Diablo IV, as the Battle Pass and its character leveling would take a long time to complete.
The dungeon crawler game is one of the top-regarded franchises of all time, and to spice things up for the experience, players have long used mods and add-ons to expand more of their gameplay. However, it is not applicable for this new title from Blizzard, as an impending ban would prevent their access if caught using one.
