Verizon and YouTube launched a new NFL Sunday Ticket package for new Verizon mobile and home internet subscribers as part of a noteworthy partnership.
Starting July 27, eligible consumers may get one free season of NFL Sunday Ticket from YouTube and YouTube TV when they sign up for mobile services or home internet plans. Customers who purchase certain smartphone models with the Unlimited Plus mobile plan may also benefit from this temporary discount, according to TechCrunch.
Since it provides a complete selection of afternoon games without being constrained by regional broadcast and pay-TV limits, the NFL Sunday Ticket has long been a highly sought-after package.
YouTube Now Holds NFL Sunday Ticket Distribution Rights
After over 30 years as the only provider of the Sunday Ticket bundle, YouTube has acquired the distribution rights previously held by DirectTV. In a multi-year agreement, the rights shifted for a reported $2 billion every season, according to Deadline. The NFL's initiative to collaborate with a digital partner to distribute its special package fits nicely with YouTube's background in delivering better watching experiences.
An additional layer of excitement for NFL fans is added by YouTube's partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery to provide a Max-NFL Sunday Ticket package, which offers a variety of watching possibilities.
The relationship with YouTube was welcomed enthusiastically by Verizon's CEO, Hans Vestberg. He noted that the partnership increases Verizon's "growing roster of the best content providers in the industry" as the company persists in providing "the best in choice and exclusive value to our customers."

Who's Eligible For The NFL Sunday Ticket Promo?
Customers who join Verizon's myPlan mobile service and buy the newest Samsung and Google smartphones, such as the new Galaxy Z Flip5, Z Fold5, and Pixel Fold, may take advantage of the promotion's limited-time free Sunday Ticket offer.
The promotion is also available to new Verizon Home Internet customers who sign up for a Fios 1 Gig, Fios 2 Gig, 5G Home Plus, or LTE Home plan. To be eligible for the free NFL Sunday Ticket promotion, current Verizon customers may upgrade to compatible mobile and home internet plans, per Variety.
With the special offer, new Verizon customers may save up to $449, making the network more alluring for NFL fans. The deal will also be available to current customers who upgrade to qualified plans. Mobile users may still use their $100 discount for the out-of-market bundle even if they decide not to upgrade.
Furthermore, NFL fans will also have the chance to get up to $150 in Fanatics gift cards in a few areas, giving them the ability to buy team or sports items and heightening their enthusiasm for the upcoming NFL season.
The long-standing relationships Verizon has had with the NFL, which are shown by the construction of its 5G network in numerous league stadiums and by the usage of this network by coaches on the playing field, serve to further the telecom giant's commitment to improving the entire fan experience.
