North Korea Issues Warning to US Spy Drones; Recon Flights Will Be Taken Down

North Korea does not want to see US spy drones.

North Korea has issued grave threats against the United States military for their future use of spy drones, as part of their reconnaissance flights that survey the northern peninsula. Allegedly, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) claimed that the US violates its airspace with its spy drones flown to its country and is subject to being taken down.

This statement was officially released by the North Korean government, and all future flights that would violate its airspace rules will be met with force.

Reuters reported (via Korea Central News Agency) that an unidentified official from North Korea's Ministry of National Defense has stated the actions it would take against US spy drones. As per the KCNA's report, the "aggressive" military maneuvers done by the American troops are pushing toward grave danger.

It was said that these actions are on the verge of kickstarting a "nuclear conflict" between the North and the South.

In recent times, it was said that the United States utilized spy drones and reconnaissance aircraft in the highly-tense area, as well as sending in a nuclear submarine near the peninsula. This act has "escalated the tensions" between the three countries, prompting this warning from the North.

US' Help to South Korea: Not Violating Airspace Rules

According to Interesting Engineering, the South Korean military claimed that North Korea's claims regarding violating its airspace are false and that no such thing happened. Moreover, it also goes against North Korea's statement, saying that they are hypocritical as they too use spy drones for intel gathering.

Despite the US' help to South Korea, there is still an impending warning for their spy drones and recon flights, with acts of aggression in place should they appear in the future.

North Korea and its Absolute Rule on Its Country

North Korea remains divided from the world, and it is notoriously known for its totalitarian practices where the country highly relies on its government's decree and rule. It is also known as one of the world's largest military power, with significant weapons of mass destruction on its arsenal which remains unknown, with concerns about its nuclear-capable underwater drone that could lead to radioactive tsunamis.

With its unknown advancements in technology and science, North Korea remains a feared nation in the world.

It was also reported before that it aims to counteract the US and South Korea's partnership by launching a satellite into orbit, one that North Korea would use in its monitoring of the military drills. This military spy satellite was set to add power and surveillance by the North to its counterpart, as well as the partnering country.

North Korea is known for its absolute rule over its country, and when it issues warnings or threats like this, it is a significant call to heed especially for the South and US troops. While there were claims that South Korea and the US did not violate anything, it is still a significant threat against their future reconnaissance flight to monitor the other side of the border.
