According to the story by 9to5Toys, the LED Philips Hue Gradient Lightstrips were spotted selling at a 29% discount, bringing this gadget down to its all-time low. This results in the device's price dropping to just a little over $200, despite normally costing $300.

The deal was spotted on Amazon, where the Philips Hue Gradient LightStrip 75-inch is selling for just $214.12 from its original $299.99 listing. Specifically, the price drop was because of its particular 29% discount.

The Discount Would Allow Buyers to Save $86 Upon Purchase

The report by 9to5Toys shares how buyers would be able to save $86, dropping the price to a new all-time low. This comes after the last lowest price for the device only saw a $26 discount in May.

It was also reported that this was the first time the device had ever fallen below the $240 price point. However, should users want a more affordable lightstrip, the article also listed the 65-inch version, selling at a discount.

Another Option for Buyers is the LED Philips Lightstrips 65-Inch Variant Selling at $269.99

It was noted that the original price for the 65-inch variant was $269.99, but because of a 30% discount, its price has dropped to just $190 also on Amazon. This would be around $24 cheaper compared to the 75-inch version.

When going back to the listing on Amazon, it was noted that the lightsrip still requires Hue Bridge and a Hue Sync Box. Regarding its description, the device was noted as a way for buyers to add light around their TV to dance, flash, dim, and even brighten one's screen.

What Buyers Would Get with the Purchase of the LED Lightstrip

It was also noted that the light would also be able to add real-time, color-accurate ambient TV lighting for when users watch movies, play video games, or even just listen to music. Users would be able to use the multicolor light effects as they blend along with the LED lightstrip seamlessly.

It was also noted that there could be TV backlighting along with a 45-degree angle that would include mounting brackets. It was also noted that users would also be able to get its premium silicone sleeve included.

Buyers Would Still Need to Purchase the Philips Hue Sync Box

However, users were also told that the Philips Hue Bridge and the Philips Hue Sync Box were sold separately. When looking on Amazon, it was spotted that the Philips Hue Play HDMI Sync Box sold at $244.

As of press time, there was no listed discount for the Sync Box, and buyers would have to buy it at its full price, which could be more than the lightstrips themselves. While there was reportedly a Hue Bridge plus Lightstrip 75-inch version for sale, it was noted that the product was unavailable.
