Tech Times is here to bring you a wrap-up of the top stories from last week, and arguably, one of the top news is with Musk and Zuckerberg showing their urges to square up their differences with each other. This was something immediately picked up by the internet, including the Ultimate Fighting Championship's President, Dana White, who claims that the executives are "dead serious" about it.
Additionally, the lawyers who used ChatGPT are now getting fined for their use of the AI chatbot, and Microsoft revealing their latest developments in quantum computing.
Dana White: Musk and Zuck Are 'Dead Serious' About the Fight
Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg are trending for the past week, and until now, both executives show their verbal prowess in challenging the other to a fight, one which the Tesla CEO started. The chances of it happening are massive, especially as the top executive of the UFC has picked up on it and claims that both are "dead serious" for it to happen.
It is not every day that we see two renowned tech moguls wanting to fight each other in a ring, or their case, the Vegas Octagon as Musk deemed it.
Meta's Facebook and Instagram, and Twitter are long-time rivals in the social media industry, but the recent indirect exchange from Musk and Zuck shows that both have grudges against each other.
At first, it may seem like a joke coming from the Twitter owner, but with the Meta CEO asking for the fight's location and Musk providing it, the MMA brawl may happen in a professional and regulated setting, especially with White's involvement.

Lawyers Fined $5,000 for their ChatGPT Use on a Case
The lawyers who used ChatGPT for building their cases are now facing fines from the court for using fake, AI-generated information without thoroughly reviewing it. Judge P. Kevin Castel gave both lawyers a fine of $5,000 each, criticizing their actions and their behavior in court when they were questioned.
Still, this fine is a testament that the court, including Judge Castel, acknowledged the apologies and plea of the lawyers who used the fake information.
The lawyers, Steven A. Schwartz and Peter LoDuca, from Levidow, Levidow & Oberman, P.C. were heavily criticized for their actions, failing to verify their citation's accuracy and presenting it in court earlier. Their case revolved around a customer's complaints against an airline company, with the case they built citing previous lawsuits that support the precedent.
Microsoft's Breakthrough in Quantum Computing
Microsoft Quantum has achieved a breakthrough in developing the world's first quantum computer and has provided a roadmap that could fast-track it to only 25 years to deliver it.
According to a paper published in Physical Review B, Microsoft said that it successfully engineered a new type of logical qubit with hardware stability. The researchers have created devices with low disorder and passed the topological gap protocol, a crucial first step in developing the first quantum computer.
This development aims to speed up the milestones for quantum computing that were thought to be almost a hundred years before making one, into merely 25 years, as per reports.
