YouTube: Dub Videos in Other Languages with New AI Tool from Aloud—Now Under Testing

YouTube is going multi-lingual with AI.

A new tool is coming from YouTube, and this AI-powered technology would help translate your videos for you with dubs for your specific languages to hear. Streaming is set to get easier thanks to YouTube's Aloud integration that will feature audio dubs for various content on the platform, now under testing from the company.

If you are tired of reading Google's auto-generated subtitles from foreign language videos, then this upcoming AI tool from Aloud will help creators in the future.

Earlier at VidCon, YouTube announced that it will be integrating a new feature for YouTube to bring dubs to videos that automatically translate them to new languages. This is from Google's Area 120 incubator, with a service called Aloud that would let its AI translations speak for the video and bridge the digital divide between languages.

YouTube said that it is still testing the tool with hundreds of creators to use the service and bring different languages to their uploads, soon to be accessible for users to choose from various offers.

What Aloud does is it transcribes the video for creators that they may review and edit. After which, the tool would create a dub for the video that can be included in the upload for the public to access, all done under the AI.

Aloud's AI to Bring New Languages to Stream

While the new Aloud tool is not exactly for the public to experience, the content it aims to bring will help influencers push more of their videos with other languages to offer.

For now, Aloud's AI tool brings two languages for content creators to use—English, Spanish, and Portuguese, but the platform would deliver more in the future for a wider variety.

YouTube's Streaming Platform

Google's YouTube remains to be the largest streaming platform in the world, and one of its main offers is that it brings global content for all, highlighting what each country has to offer. The vast offers of YouTube are not only for the entertainment experience but also for learning, and researchers have already looked into using its content to train robots in doing chores.

For a long time now, YouTube has catered to content creators looking to bring information, lifestyle, and many more to the platform, with the company offering many opportunities for them. The latest Indus Insider Program is a new initiative from SuperGaming and YouTube to help bring more of their content online, also focusing on empowering what they have to offer.

While YouTube has brought various content from international influencers to the platform for the world to see, it aims to bridge more of the lingual divide that is apparent online for those who are not well-versed in English and other languages. With Aloud, YouTube will see an upgrade with an AI tool that can help deliver dubs in two languages for now, and more soon.
