Amazon Music is coming out with a deal that offers not one, not two, not even three, but four months of free subscription. This comes ahead of Prime Day, which doesn't happen until July 11 and is expected to launch with multiple other discounts and deals as well.
Amazon Music Gives Users Access to Over 100 Million Songs Without Ads for Four Months for Free
According to the story by Variety, the deals are starting to come out even before the official Amazon Prime Day with bonuses for subscriptions like Amazon Music and Audible. Amazon Music Unlimited, which gives users access to over 100 million songs without ads, comes with four free months.
This is part of a limited-time Prime Day deal that's launching way before the official sale season takes place. The music streaming service also provides users with an ad-free podcast option, which offers a 30-day trial but costs $10.99 monthly.
It was noted that those interested in the four free months for Amazon Music must take the deal before July 12, when it runs out. This comes after the company increased the Amazon Music Ultimate plan prices this year.
Promo Comes Ahead of Amazon Prime Day
This makes the new Amazon Prime Day promo more affordable compared to the past. At the start of the year, the price for Amazon Music Unlimited individual plan increased by $1 to $10.99 from $9.99 monthly.
This price was for non-Prime members only. Even the service's Amazon Music Unlimited student plan saw an increase from $4.99 to $5.99 monthly.
Amazon released an official notice regarding the price changes saying that it would help them to be able to bring more content and features to users. This was their explanation as for why they decided to increase the price of their plans.
Amazon Music Compared to Spotify in Terms of Audio Quality
The article by Variety also points out that compared to Spotify, Amazon Music offers higher fidelity tracks at no additional costs. This allows users to experience "lessloss listening," a feature promoted by Amazon that reportedly provides higher audio quality.
It was also noted that Amazon Music was still the best choice for Alexa users regarding music streaming since they can take advantage of the reduced fee. After the expiration of the four-month p[romo, Alexa owners would only need to pay $4 monthly.

Alexa Owners can See the Price Drop to Just $4 but with Conditions
The price will drop to just $4 if Alexa owners decide to strip down the number of streaming devices to a single Echo or Fire TV. It was also highlighted that to avail the four-month promo, subscribers would need to be Amazon Prime members.
Due to the promotion expiring on July 12, interested subscribers would have around 20 days as of press time to avail of the promotion. After the promotion period, fans can only avail themselves of the 30-day free trial instead of 120 days in total.
