Find out more about the new "Albion Online" Season 20.

'Albion Online,' the popular MMORPG game, is getting its season 20 update. This brings players a whole new range of additions pushing the adventure further with the launch of the Albion East server.

'Albion Online' Season 20 Update Expected Release Time

According to the story by MMORPG, ever since the game's initial launch on the Albion East server, the different seasons it released looked even more unique. Even more so with the new update, players can experience something completely new.

This comes as the game's Invasion Day is set to launch on June 17. The update will reportedly start on Albion East and broadcast live at 1:30 PM UTC.

As for Albion West, the update will roll out four hours after releasing on Albion East. Players of Albion West are expected to get the new season at 5:30 UTC.

It's important to note that as for the official "Albion Online" Season 20, the official release will be at midnight UTC for Albion East, and for Albion West, the new season will start at 11:00 AM UTC.

New Season Comes with Major Changes to the Game

Like with other games, the new season signifies major changes within the game. One of the main changes players will instantly experience is the differences the new season brings to the Hideouts.

It was noted that the new update would make Hideouts harder for players. This was especially true for Hideouts past level 4 or higher since they would now be draining even more energy from the players.

However, if the player's guild owned territory in that zone, there would reportedly be an offset regarding energy draining. It was also noted that this change incentivized players to conquer the territory to bypass the additional energy drain.

It was also revealed that a Hideout that wasn't the player's HQ would only get 25% less energy from the Power Cores. This could be a major player's mechanics shift, so it's important to watch out for the changes.

Players to Experience Gameplay Changes

It was also revealed that other changes include how there would be earlier spawn times on the Albion East for both the Castle and Castle Outpost Treasures. This means players won't have to wait as long as they used to since the spawn will now be 30 minutes earlier.

Another range of changes includes the Crystal League and Crystal Arena, as they are expected to use the cross-map for the new season. It was noted that the player's teams will experience adjusted rank points to help them progress with the given rules and boundaries.

It was also noted that there would be changes in the new and returning reward schemes. The new season would continue to reward players for the guild season's top three finishers by giving them a Direwolf skin.

Fans that want to try the game out can download it from Steam or other platforms.
