Streamlabs, the renowned streaming platform for Twitch, YouTube, and Facebook, has unveiled a new editing tool called Podcast Editor.
Developed by Streamlabs' parent company Logitech, the Podcast Editor leverages artificial intelligence (AI) to empower content creators in livestreaming their podcasts and talk shows.
With features like text-based editing, automatic transcript generation, and resizing tools, this innovative tool aims to revolutionize content creation.
AI-Powered Editing Tools for Online Creators
The Podcast Editor, available exclusively to Streamlabs Ultra subscribers, enables creators to edit their audio and video content seamlessly.
The text-based editing feature allows users to generate transcripts and real-time translations effortlessly.
Additionally, creators can add subtitles in various languages and create clips in different sizes with different template designs for easy sharing on popular platforms such as Facebook and TikTok.
The user-friendly interface of the Podcast Editor includes a text editor where users can highlight parts of the transcript and automatically generate short clips featuring those sections of their podcast.
Engadget tells us that this editor also has translation capabilities and provides options for styling and inserting subtitles. Furthermore, users can remove filler words like "ums" and awkward pauses from their podcasts within seconds, drastically reducing the editing time.

Enhanced Editing Capabilities for Streamlabs Ultra Subscribers
According to Logitech, Podcast Editor has the potential to save creators hours of editing time. While Streamlabs Ultra subscribers will benefit the most from Podcast Editor, as they can manage up to 40 hours of content, non-paying users can also access a limited version of the tool.
Through the free version of Streamlabs, non-paying users can edit up to one hour of content per month at no cost.
Streamlabs Ultra, priced at $19 per month or $149 per year, offers an all-in-one subscription package with access to Streamlabs Console, Video Editor Pro, and now Podcast Editor.
Additionally, a limited version of the Podcast Editor will be free to Streamlabs Starter users, allowing them to edit up to one hour of content each month.
Streamlabs' Efforts to Diversify Content, Reach

As the podcasting industry continues to flourish, with a global listenership of up to 464.7 million and over 4 million podcast episodes, Streamlabs' Podcast Editor arrives at a time when more people than ever are tuning in to their favorite content.
Streamlabs' new tool caters to the increasing popularity of talk-show-like formats, as demonstrated by the Just Chatting category on Twitch garnered over 826 million hours watched in Q1 2023 alone.
