Private areas: Of course, you need to consider the privacy of the areas where you'll be installing your security cams. Avoid areas such as guest rooms, bathrooms, make-up rooms, etc.

Behind obstructions: Another place you want to avoid is those behind obstructions. For example, you don't want to install your home security camera in areas covered by trees or behind a massive wall.

Difficult-to-see places: Usually, people tend to install their security cams in locations that are difficult to see. These include the backdoor, side alley, and other similar areas. However, a recent study conducted by ADT revealed that over 30% of criminals prefer entering through the front door. Meanwhile, 22% of them tend to break in through the first-floor windows.
