The Wired reported that the user information collected by ChatGPT could be used by the AI tool to answer future queries.

Since this concerns many consumers, OpenAI decided to introduce a new setting on Apr. 25. This advanced privacy feature enables users to stop ChatGPT from using their text inputs for other queries.

If you want to use this security functionality, you can follow these steps:

  1. First, access your ChatGPT user profile, which is located in the bottom-left corner of the screen.
  2. After that, click the Settings and Data Controls buttons.
  3. Once you are there, just toggle off the Chat History & Training option.

In other stories, a Chinese man allegedly used ChatGPT to spread fake news. Meanwhile, a recent study claimed that ChatGPT memorized numerous popular novels, such as "Harry Potter."
