The latest "League of Legends" Lee Sin bug fix disappoints many players because it ruins the iconic Insec combo.
On Wednesday, May 3, Riot Games released the "LoL" Patch 13.9. Aside from champion enhancements and adjustments, this new patch also included bug fixes for numerous characters.
One of the bug fixes was specifically for the previous Lee Sin glitch, which prevents the hero from casting the Safeguard skill on himself.
Yes, it fixed this in-game bug. However, the bug fix created another problem for Lee Sin.
New 'League of Legends' Lee Sin Bug Fix Ruins Insec Combo!
According to Dexerto's latest report, the new Lee Sin bug fix now prevents delays in the hero's ability to ward hop instantly.
This issue was spotted by Reddit user CivicPiano. "Well, now you can't do a quick ward hop AT ALL. Please, go into the practice tool and try to ward hop quickly," said the Reddit user.
He added that although Safeguard would work, it would take .5 seconds or even one second after the ward was placed just to activate.
"You literally cannot even ward hop insec someone late game since it takes a full second to ward hop, and that's if you're spamming W," he complained.
As of writing, Riot Games hasn't announced if it is already working on a new big fix to solve the latest Safeguard delay glitch.
But, if the game developer already is, the bug solution takes a few days to arrive since the next "League of Legends" patch, 13.10, is scheduled to arrive on May 17.
What is Lee Sin Insec Combo?
The iconic (and still popular) Lee Sin Insec combo was popularized by the ex-"LoL" professional player Choi "Insec" In-Seok.
Although he already retired in 2019, his Lee Sin technique still lives on in the Summoner's Rift.
To do this combo, you need to target an opponent using the Resonating Strike.
Once you are near the enemy character, you need to ward hop behind the champion and use the Dragon's Rage to kick them toward your teammates.
This Lee Sin combo needs you to have the insane reaction time to effectively pull it off. But, with the latest glitch, this will be impossible to do so.
The new Lee Sin in-game bug is not the only thing that disappointed gamers this 2023.
Recently, the "League of Legends" filler skins were also criticized by players.
Aside from this, the delayed "League of Legends" Prime Gaming Capsule in February also disappointed gamers.
