The "Fast & Furious" franchise is soon dropping its latest movie (which they hint to be their last in the franchise), with the new movie dubbed as "Fast X" that marks its 10th feature film. However, as there is still a couple of weeks wait before it releases, the team released an 8-bit racing game that gives a teaser to the upcoming film to keep fans at the edge of their seats.
Its new game will give gamers a glimpse of joining the "Fast Family" in their many international conquests and fight to save the world from sinister forces.
'Fast & Furious' Franchise offers an 8-Bit Game Ahead of the Movie Launch
The Fast Saga's Twitter account announced a new experience for fans and gamers to enjoy, centering on an 8-bit game that features the franchise's many exploits around the world. Everyone is given a chance to join the "Fast Family," on their many races and fights in different iconic cities in the world including Los Angeles, Rio De Janeiro, and Rome.
The game is available for free on this website and offers a chance to experience what it is like to race around the streets of known locations in the movie in different vehicles including motorcycles and modded cars.
Users could also hear iconic voices and lines from known characters in the movie including Letty, Dom, and more.
'Fast X' is Coming, But for Eager Fans, This Game is For You
The studio is also inviting the public to play the game ahead of the film's upcoming release, probably the last movie of its canon storyline.
"Fast X," also known as the "Fast and Furious 10" will be available in cinemas come May 19, more than a two-week wait from now. It will feature old and familiar faces like Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Nathalie Emmanuel, Jordana Brewster, and more of the family.
And this grand conclusion to the film franchise also brings in the likes of Jason Momoa, Charlize Theron, Brie Larson, and more to plague the heroes and threaten the family of their survival.
The 'Fast & Furious' Never-Ending Saga
From being petty thieves who uses modified import cars to steal DVD players and VCRs, the "Fast & Furious" franchise gave a significant highlight to the underground street racing in the US that sparked a significant culture in the country. It also captured the hearts and interest of fans all over the world, with its themes that center on race, crime, and family.
The focus on underground street racing in L.A. and other parts of the world was one thing, creating a cult following on the franchise which spanned multiple movies released in over 20 years since the first film in 2001.
Many have thought that the franchise is ending, especially amidst the death of one of the most famous actors in its cast, the Legendary JDM fanboy, Paul Walker, best known for his role as Brian O'Conner.
Instead of killing off his character, the FF family decided to make his legacy live on and excuse him for retiring from the team's worldwide adventures, still pushing in three movies after that.
With Fast X speedily approaching, fans cannot wait to see the franchise's conclusion and alleged final film, now offering a free 8-bit game to enjoy weeks ahead of its premiere.
