Apple WWDC 2023: New Developments are Coming as Teased by VP

Apple executive Susan Prescott said in an interview with The Independent that there are "new ways to connect with Apple" at the upcoming Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2023. The event will showcase new features, capabilities, and ways to get answers from Apple.

As such, the company is constantly looking for ways to improve the platform and provide better experiences for both developers and users.

Cupertino will continue to develop new experiences that would center on diversity and inclusion in the company's App Store, centering on the "historically underrepresented groups, including women." The company is working towards the inclusion and visibility of these people for better experiences and support.

Prescott Claims New Things Coming for App Store

The executive also revealed plans to enhance the App Store and reinforced the existence of the "Small Business Program," which allows developers to qualify for a commission rate of 15% instead of 30% if they earn up to $1 million.

The App Store has been a critical aspect of Apple's business, generating billions of dollars in revenue each year.

According to 9to5 Mac, there is a looming EU law that would push Apple to allow third-party apps' installation on Cupertino's technology, but would only be available for European countries.
