A major Facebook ad glitch disappoints many advertisers; even causing panic among ad companies.
Due to this serious issue, they are now urging Meta to refund their money. One of the individuals affected by the latest Facebook advertising glitch is Intensify CEO Alex Golick.
"The results were horrendous. It's the biggest malfunction I've ever seen on Facebook ads," said Golick via CNBC.
Facebook Ad Glitch Causes Panic Among Advertisers
Gizmodo reported that the Facebook ad glitch started on Sunday, Apr. 23.

In the case of Golick, he noticed that an account of one of his clients spent around 90% of its daily Facebook ad budget during that day.
He discovered this issue at 9:00 am, meaning that only 10% of his client's Facebook ad budget was left for the remaining 15 hours of the day.
The marketing agency's CEO complained that the Facebook ad glitch was widespread, saying that the issue wasted his money and the advertising budget of other advertisers.
Meta confirmed that Facebook ad glitch. The tech giant firm announced that the system problem was already fixed.
"A technical issue that has now been resolved caused ad delivery issues for some advertisers," said a Meta spokesperson.
Will Advertisers Get Refunds?
Although Meta has already fixed the Facebook ad glitch, there's one major problem that remains.
These are the refunds that advertisers are asking for from the tech company.
A Meta spokesperson explained that they are still conducting a detailed analysis to check if there would be refund opportunities for the affected advertisers.
Of course, if advertising companies can prove that they were affected by the glitch, Meta confirmed that they could contact customer support for assistance.
Via its official website, Meta said that refunds commonly take around a month. This time frame can be lessened if advertisers pay using their credit cards.
