Motorola is slated to launch several smartphone models soon, including the Edge 40, which will be out for its global launch.
Some handsets, such as Razr 40 Ultra and Razr+ 2023, will first be rolled out in China before being released in other regions.
Just recently, a reliable leaker has teased the early images of the upcoming Motorola Edge 40. The tipster said that it would arrive with a vegan leather back.
Teaser Hints Motorola Edge 40's Vegan Leather Rear
In early April, we saw that the Motorola Edge 40 Pro had made its way into select markets. While the Pro version is the first to come out, we haven't seen the regular version of this handset yet.
According to Android Headlines, there's a fresh leak from Evan Blass, which suggests that the Edge 40 will feature a vegan leather back.
The tipster previously noted that the said smartphone will allegedly come in four color options, including blue, black, green, and magenta.
Speaking of these colors, the colorways will be officially released as Lunar Blue, Eclipse Black, Nebula Green, and Viva Magenta.
With Motorola's move to collaborate with Pantone, the same magenta shade will be brought because of the branding. This time, the rear panel of the upcoming Moto phone will boast vegan leather.
Based on the leaks, the front and the back part of the Edge 40 will be curved, but its edges will remain flat. The report also suggests that its bottom edge will contain a primary mic, a SIM tray, and a USB Type-C port. Meanwhile, the power and the volume buttons will be located on the right side.

Aside from that, the smartphone will take advantage of the Full HD+ resolution thanks to its 6.55-inch AMOLED display. That's not the only thing you can enjoy here since it will also come with a 144Hz refresh rate which is more impressive than iPhone 14.
Just like other handheld units, it is anticipated to have a 128GB and 256GB version when it comes to storage, not to mention its 8GB RAM.
Aside from that, it can wirelessly charge at 15W, while its 68W TurboPower will take care of its wired charging.

Of course, it will run on Android 13 OS, and it will have an under-display fingerprint sensor, according to the reports. By the time it launches in Europe, the expected price of Motorola Edge 40 could hit around $980 (899 euros).
