Apple is not yet done with the Mac Studio, and this was from the latest report by Mark Gurman, the famed analyst who claimed that it is not a one-time release from the company. The device recently turned one year old since its March 2022 release, and it remains the fastest Mac device in the present, despite the arrival of the M2 Pro and M2 Max chips in the latest MacBook Pro.
The analyst claims two new Mac Studios are coming in the future, but the Silicon-powered Mac Pro with the M-series chip is nowhere yet to release.
Two New Apple Mac Studios are Coming Soon for All
Bloomberg's Mark Gurman revealed in his latest Power On Newsletter that Apple is not yet done with the Mac Studio, and it is not a one-time thing for the company. The renowned analyst said this when discussing the future of the MacBooks and the anticipated announcements coming this WWDC 2023, taking place in June.
Gurman said that there are two new models for the Mac Studio slated for a future release, to feature new processors that would power the device and move away from the M1 Pro and M1 Ultra.
Still, these M-series versions of the SoCs are regarded to be the fastest processors present on the Mac, beating out the M2 series and its Pro and Max versions.
When is the new Mac Studios Coming?
MacRumors said that according to Gurman, there are still no concrete release dates centering on the Mac Studio's future, only that it is coming soon to the public. This "soon" timeline may mean that it is coming later this year, but may also be for 2024 or later.
The Mac Studio brought the world iconic processes with its chip and capabilities, but also an expensive one to own, with its price tag starting at $1,999 and $3,999, respectively, for the processor options.
Apple's Mac Development
Last year's Mac development centers on the arrival of the gaming and editing-equipped devices available for the public in the form of the Mac Studio. It featured the upgraded version of the first Apple SoC for its computers, the M1 Pro and M1 Ultra, which users get to choose from for their preferred computing power from the company.
It was highly regarded as one of the most powerful Macs released to the public, and it became the center of attention for its processing power, also for its hefty prices. Still, it did not stop teardown creators to look inside the CPU's housing, which was revealed to have two upgradeable SSD slots available on the device, but Apple's software blocks the expansion.
All in all, the Mac Studio is one worthy device to have as per reviews and experiences with Apple's CPU that brings the Mac alive, requiring a monitor for its display. One of the most iconic things about this upgraded version of the Mac mini is that it is plug-and-play, allowing developers, editors, and the like to have a massive performance, coming soon with new releases.
