Elon Musk teases New Logo for Starship Launch, Casts Doubt on its Successful Flight

The Chief Tweet is still the chief of SpaceX.

Elon Musk teased a new logo dedicated to the upcoming launch of the Starship spacecraft, amidst SpaceX getting its much-awaited license from the FAA. The upcoming test flight of the Starship will feature its full-stack with the Super Heavy Booster rocket and will showcase how its future flights would turn out for its upcoming missions.

However, the tech CEO still acknowledges that it may not turn out as what they set out to be, but still promises that it will be an exciting experience for the company.

Elon Musk Teases New Logo for the Upcoming Starship Launch

The SpaceX CEO tweeted a new logo for the upcoming Starship launch, also confirming the new license FAA gave the company and looking forward to its first orbital test flight. It features an animated full-stack image of the Starship and Super Heavy Booster, signifying the official launch that will take place next week.

Its launch window would be from Monday, April 17 to Wednesday, April 19, with the first day of the week being its target flight time.

SpaceX is offering a live stream of the test flight program from before, during, and after the spacecraft's launch to orbit, marking its company's history for the first official venture of the rocket.

Musk Casts Doubt on Success of Starship Flight

Another tweet from the tech CEO quotes SpaceX's confirmation of the test flight, but he said "successful maybe, excitement guaranteed," casting a doubt on its completion on one of the most important rockets of the company.

Musk is being realistic and open to the possibility that things may not go as planned, as this usually happens on highly unpredictable spaceflights. Still, he is excited and optimistic about the upcoming flight of the highly-anticipated rocket to further the space industry in the future.

Elon Musk and the Starship

Among those excited for the Starship's first flight is the top executive of the company, as he has been known to heavily campaign for the developments of his company and their projects from within. Looking closely at Starship's development, Elon Musk's touch can be seen all over it, including the "pointy" design which he claims came from the movie "The Dictator."

It was also the tech CEO who talked about the launch window for the Starship, previously predicting that it will take as early as a month to have it flying to orbit, or as late as 12 months. He claimed this August last year, and the top billionaire's predictions were accurate for the April launch, within his proposed period, eight months in.

As excited as Musk may be, he did not deny the fact that other factors may rob the company of its success in launching or returning the spacecraft to its facilities in one piece. SpaceX and Musk are gearing up for their early week launch this April 17, but it may transcend to Tuesday or Wednesday, depending on the weather and other factors that might affect it.
