New York Robocops: NYPD, City Government Introduces New 400-lbs. Robots to Patrol the Streets

New York's concrete jungles are seeing the robotic dreams.

"Robocop" was set in 2043, but 20 years earlier (which is the present world we live in), New York is introducing a new fleet of robots to aid the New York Police Department (NYPD) in making the streets safer. This New York robocop project was recently introduced by the city's law enforcement, alongside the mayor's office which co-launched it.

These robots are 400 lbs. in weight, a real heavy one that thieves cannot pick up and steal from the city, with its main objective to keep an eye on its streets to help law enforcement catch crimes and provide a record.
