ChatGPT is currently the most popular AI chatbot in the tech market.
OpenAI made huge headlines when it launched this advanced artificial intelligence in 2022.
In just two months after its release, the AI chatbot was able to garner over 100 million users, beating Twitter, WhatsApp, and other popular applications.
As of writing, ChatGPT is being used by consumers for various tasks. One of these is learning marketing and investments.
However, DataTrek warned that this AI-powered chatbot is not yet ready to be a tool for marketing and investing.
ChatGPT Shouldn't Be Trusted by Marketers, Investors
Business Insider reported that DataTrek conducted a study to check the effectiveness of ChatGPT when it comes to marketing and investing.

DataTreck asked ChatGPT to answer seven questions about marketing and investing during its test. However, the AI model didn't answer four of the seven queries.
Aside from this issue, ChatGPT's answers to two other questions were also incorrect/vague.
For example, when DataTrek asked ChatGPT about the performance of the S&P 500 in 2022, the AI said that the benchmark stock index's return was 26.9%.
This was an incorrect answer since the index actually decreased by 20% in 2022 due to worsening inflation.
Because of this, DataTrek warned investors and marketers to avoid using the AI chatbot.
"Generative AI has a long way to go before proving useful in the financial services industry or as a tool for individual investors," said Jessica Rabe, DataTrek's co-founder.
She added that ChatGPT couldn't provide reliable recommendations and answers. Instead, Jessica thinks that artificial intelligence can only offer generic responses.
People Use ChatGPT to Start Businesses
Although ChatGPT still needs lots of improvements, some people decided to use the chatbot to generate business ideas.
