Short video AI generators are expected to arrive in the rising artificial intelligence industry.
These new AI systems are now being developed by New York-based startup Runway AI.
Ian Sansavera, a software architect of the AI firm, said that their systems are so efficient that only a few words are needed to generate short videos.
He already tested their system using the description "a tranquil river in the forest." After that, their AI software generated a short video in less than two minutes.
Short Video AI Generators Could Arrive!
According to The New York Times' latest report, Runway AI plans to open its AI generators to a small group of testers this April.
Their new AI video generators are expected to benefit digital artists, film experts, and other creatives.
"This is one of the single most impressive technologies we have built in the last hundred years," said Runway AI's Chief Executive Crish Valenzuela.
He added that people should use their advanced AI short video generators.
Like ChatGPT and other generative artificial intelligence, Runway AI's systems work when users type descriptions.
However, the AI software of the NY-based startup can only generate short videos if the descriptions are not complicated.
Runway AI is still improving its AI video generator systems. As of press time, the tech company hasn't confirmed when it will officially open its artificial intelligence to testers.
AI-Generated Short Film
The effectiveness of artificial intelligence when it comes to generating videos was already shown in the short movie called "Last Stand."
Hashem Al-Ghaili, the director of the short sci-fi film, created the video using Brightpen AI.
"None of it is real. It's just a movie, made mostly with AI, which took care of writing the script, creating the concept art, generating all the voices," said the movie director via his official YT video.
