GMC and EarthCruiser have partnered up to develop a Hummer EV overland concept, as reported by Electrek. The Hummer EV will allow riders to explore further with an overloading upfit solution.
In October 2021, GMC unveiled its electric super truck, the Hummer EV. Come March 2022, GMC revealed that the reservations for the Hummer EV have exceeded their expectations, with over 65,000 in total.
The Hummer EV runs up to 1,000 hp, 11,500 lb-ft of available torque, and 350+ miles range. It is designed for off-roading and features a dynamic Adaptive Air suspension system, automatically raising the ride height. It also comes with 35" tires, full underbody armor, 4-wheel steer, and more.

A New Hummer EV
The company's latest team-up with EarthCruises will bring in a new overlanding upfit solution designed to integrate into the Hummer EV pickup. This will better allow users to forge ahead into uncharted territory.
Concept images have been released in which the slide-in campers seem to have solar panels that could allow users to charge the vehicle on and off the grid. The GMC Hummer EV overland concept will be officially unveiled in late summer 2023.
