Nvidia is allegedly releasing two affordable graphics cards in the market sometime this year. The GeForce RTX 4060 Ti and GeForce RTX 4050 are expected to be available in May and June, respectively, according to a reputable tipster.
While the computer hardware maker is rumored to be launching these variants, the leaker remains uncertain about the arrival of RTX 4060.
Nvidia RTX 4060 Ti and RTX 4050 Leak
Based on Tom's Hardware's early report, @Zed_Wang, the same leaker who previously unveiled information about the upcoming RTX30 lineup is back with another spicy news for GPU enthusiasts.
The tipster unveils that an Nvidia GPU namely RTX 4060 Ti will be hitting the shelves sometime in late May 2023. Meanwhile, the cheaper graphics card RTX 4050 is allegedly launching in June.
Given that the Computex Taipei will be held on May 30 to June 2, there's a chance that the annual tradeshow will showcase these two forthcoming hardware. Aside from those, we could potentially see other desktop products from Nvidia including CPUs, motherboards, and more.
Are We Seeing Nvidia RTX 4060 in 2023?
As of now, we are not yet sure if the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 will be coming out this year since @Zed_Wang claims that there's not yet a launch date for this graphics card.
With the early information that surfaced about RTX 4060 Ti, it's logical to think that Nvidia will release it alongside the regular variant.
The rumor indicates that the RTX 4060 might be a toned-down version of the AD106 GPU. In this case, we are yet to see the same setup for this graphics card including the 8GB RAM and 3072 CUDA cores.
Meanwhile, the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti will exhibit 4352 CUDA Cores paired with 8GB RAM (128-bit bus).
While the alleged specs for the RTX 40-series are also leaked online, the specifications for the GeForce RTX 4050 remain a mystery until now.
