The U.S. Army decided to award Red River, an IT tech firm, over $12 billion to use the company's information technology enterprise solutions.
Red River announced its new contract with the defense department on Wednesday, Mar. 22.
"This award demonstrates Red River's longstanding commitment to providing superior professional services to the U.S. Army," said Red River via its official press release.
The IT firm added that the contract provides it the opportunity to continue supporting and serving women and men in uniform at home and abroad.
US Army to Use Red River's IT Enterprise Solutions
According to Defense Post's latest report, the new contract is a nine-year agreement that will allow the U.S. Army to use Red River's IT solutions.

The IT enterprise services that the defense organization can take advantage of are network or systems operation, cybersecurity or information assurance, maintenance, business process engineering, and telecommunications.
Red River CEO Brian Roach said that they are excited to continue their supporting and serving the U.S. Army and other government agencies.
He added that they are looking forward to working with the Department of Defense officials to support their mission requirements in the following areas:
- Managed Services
- Cybersecurity
- Cloud
- Infrastructure
- Collaboration
Roach stated that the new contract will strengthen Red River's portfolio, allowing it to improve its position as a leading tech and service provider.
