Some did not take the new pricing lightly even as YouTube explained that it was due to the rising cost of content. So this time, The Google-owned video service is giving its users or new customers more reason to pay for more. The much-awaited multiview option is now on its way to all YouTube TV users.

YouTube TV Rolls Out Multiview Streaming Support

As per a recent report by XDA Developers, the wide release of the multiview option for YouTube TV, which has been highly requested for quite some time now, has kicked off.

Initially, the said feature that allows users to view four videos at once is exclusively accessible via a test group. And since then, it is unclear if the tech giant is planning to release the multiview support to everyone else in the service.

Surprisingly, amid the YouTube TV price hike, the long-awaited streaming option started dishing out to its paying users.

It sure is a handy feature as it lets YouTube TV subscribers stream multiple videos simultaneously on one screen. Without this feature, some users may use various devices to view two or more videos at once. For instance, they may use their tablets, phones, TVs, and even laptops.

On the other hand, the new multiview feature lets them watch up to four videos on a single screen.

YouTube TV Price Hike

As mentioned, the premium subscription service, YouTube TV, which houses hundreds of TV channels, movies, series, and other videos, is now more expensive than ever.

Previously, it required its members to pay a $65 monthly subscription fee to enjoy its services. But with the recent price hike, new subscribers now have to spare $73 every month. For existing users, the new pricing takes effect by April 18.

How to Use Multiview Feature to Watch Videos Simultaneously

Without any further ado, here's how to use the new multiview feature of YouTube TV to stream multiple videos at once. Using this new option is pretty easy.

While watching a live game, users may select the "watch in multiview" option. From there, you may choose which other games you want to play.

Screen Rant notes that the feature is currently only available on the YouTube TV app for smart TVs and other streaming players or boxes. So if you are fond of watching on your phone or laptop, you might have to settle with the single viewing option.
