"Pokemon Scarlet & Violet" Ranked Battles Series 4 is still underway, but in two weeks, we will see another rise of meta in every competitive team.
The VGC format for the next season entitled "Regulation C" will focus on bringing a new quartet of legendary Pokemon known as "The Treasures of Ruin." This means that we will soon have Ting-Lu, Chi-Yu, Wo-Chien, and Chien Pao in the ranked doubles a few weeks from now.
Ahead of Season 5, let's discuss the best possible cores you can use to have a competitive edge over your opponents.
When will SV Ranked Battles Regulations C start?
The most exciting part in the Paldean battlefield is about to start from April 1 to June 30, according to Liquipedia.
The "Scarlet & Violet" Ranked Battles Regulation C (Series 3) will feature the Ruinous monsters which have unique abilities we have never seen before from any other previous Pokemon mainline games. Each of them shares a primary type which is Dark.
Wo-Chien (Dark/Grass)
Tablets of Ruin: The power of the Pokémon's ruinous wooden tablets lowers the Attack stats of all Pokémon except itself.
Chien-Pao (Dark/Ice)
Swords of Ruin: The power of the Pokémon's ruinous sword lowers the Defense stats of all Pokémon except itself
Ting-Lu (Dark/Ground)
Vessel of Ruin: The power of the Pokémon's ruinous vessel lowers the Sp. Atk stats of all Pokémon except itself.
Chi-Yu (Dark/Fire)
Beads of Ruin:The power of the Pokémon's ruinous beads lowers the Sp. Def stats of all Pokémon except itself.

New Paradox Pokemon Iron Leaves and Walking Wake just entered SV last month, but that does not mean that they will be available for ranked battles anytime soon.
Aside from them, here are the restricted Pokemon that won't be joining the upcoming VGC Regulation C series, according to Serebii.

Best Cores to Use For SV VGC Regulation C 2023
OliviaSama, one of the rising YouTubers who regularly stream Pokemon content, says that these are the best cores that could likely dominate the next season.
Chi-Yu + Flutter Mane + Iron Bundle + Torkoal
Chien-Pao + Dragonite + Palafin + Brune Bonnet
Ting-Lu + Arcanine + Gargancl + Iron Hands
Wo-Chien + Gothitelle + Scream Tail + Volcarona
Of course, the time to experiment around these teams is still far from over given how diverse the matchups and meta every season.
Building your starter cores around the four ruins is a great way to start the VGC Series 5 next month. As the competition progresses in several regional tournaments, we can discover more viable alternatives other than these teams.
