Artificial intelligence- AI is taking over Digital Marketing in 2023 and this will impact SEO. With AI tools like ChatGPT, copy.ai, etc creating content is becoming easier and faster. Many companies now prefer to use AI tools to create content over content writers. However, easily created content doesn't always translate to good quality content. Google will still and always rank websites on the basis of the quality of content.

Another way AI impacts Digital marketing is with Voice search. Voice search is becoming popular with consumers as it makes the search process easier and faster. Now marketers are turning to voice assistants powered by artificial intelligence to collect data.

As a result, the website now has to be optimized for voice search to rank voice search queries made through devices like Alexa or Google Home.

There are 3 things you can do to optimize Voice search.

1. Use long-term keywords

Voice searches are usually worded differently from text searches. They are longer and more specific as compared to text searches. So, to optimize for Voice search long tail keywords, especially question keywords in your content.

2. Tailoring content for regional queries

To optimize for the voice search focus of local SEO. Use location-based keywords in your content. Add your location (city, state, or country) to your keywords and titles. Add "coffee shop New York City" to the headline and across the site if you run a coffee shop.

3. Use a conversational tone in your content

The quality of content is always an important factor in SEO because it engages the readers. Another aspect of the quality of content is the tone in which it is written. Content written in a conversational and approachable tone will be more engaging.

Write your content in a way human beings would talk- Instead of searching for "coffee shops," you may instead ask, "Where can I locate a nice coffee shop near me?"

SEO is a long-term strategy, and although using quick "Black hat" SEO techniques may give you an artificial boost, these strategies are not sustainable. Don't take shortcuts with SEO and be ready to invest your time and effort.

Keep Updating yourself

"You need to upgrade your knowledge every day, go to seminars & learn from the experts, and be a part of mastermind groups. I am doing this myself. I am paying for learning strategies from experts. People are scared to invest in their knowledge, they can buy a new iPhone but never invest in education."
