Apple updated the trade-in values of its devices, including older iPhones, iPads, MacBooks, and Apple Watches.
So if you are looking to upgrade your iPhone or MacBook, the older version might now cost more. Not to mention that iPads and Apple Watch got a bit more valuable as well when you trade them to Apple for a newer device.
New Apple iPhone Trade-In Values
According to Tom's Guide, the trade-in values of iPhones degraded between November 2022 to January 2023. So trading them for a new phone has gotten less attractive in the past months.
But after its drop, the iPhone maker has updated the trade-in value of its older flagship phones.
The iPhone 13 Pro Max now carries a $600 value, up from $570, while the iPhone 13 Pro is at $500, an increase from its previous $470 trade-in value. The iPhone 13 mini and iPhone 13, on the other hand, retained their value at $350 and $400, respectively.
The trade-in value of the iPhone Pro Max is now at $420, thanks to the new $20 increase. Meanwhile, the iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12, and iPhone 12 Pro maintained their pricing.
The same goes with other older devices, including the iPhone 11 series and the iPhone 7 lineup, except for the iPhone 7 Plus, which is now at $60, a $10 increase from $50.
How Much is the Trade-in Value of iPads
Besides the iPhones, Apple also increased the trade-in values of its iPads.
The iPad Air trade-in value is now $320, a significant jump from its previous $230 pricing, according to 9to5 Mac. Meanwhile, the iPad increases its value from $160 to $165.
MacBook, iMac, Mac Pro, Mac mini Trade-in Values Increases
MacBook and other Macs already saw an increase in their trade-in values.
If you want to trade in your MacBook Air, it now costs $515, up from its previous $460 value. The website of Apple confirms that the MacBook and MacBook Pro are now valued at $125 and $730 respectively.
The Mac mini now costs $375, while the iMac carries a $570 value. On the flip side, the iMac Pro lost a bit of its trade-in value, previously at $600, it is down to $575.

How About the Apple Watch?
If you are still wearing an Apple Watch Series 4, it still costs around $50 when you trade it in. The Apple Watch Series 5 is now at $80, while the newer Apple Watch Series 7 is valued at $165.
On top of these flagship wearables, an Apple Watch SE can still save you roughly $70.
