The Mobile World Congress 2023 was a massive platform for Nokia to bring its latest tech offers to the world, and one that stole the spotlight was its G22 Android smartphone which features a highly-repairable design for all. It is the perfect smartphone for DIYers who want to perform tweaks or repairs on their device at home.
Not only that, its replacement parts are widely available once the device is released, and it offers low and affordable prices for all, alongside guides from its partners.
Nokia G22 is a Highly Repairable Android Smartphone
The Nokia G22 is coming, and as per the company's showcase over at MWC, it will feature a highly-repairable device that allows users to take matters into their own hands. Nokia, alongside HMD Global and iFixIt, claims that the G22's repair may take minutes only, unlike other smartphones of the company requiring hours of work.
HMD said that the G22's entire device, from top to bottom, may be fixed in under 20 minutes, corresponding to its easily navigatable design.
The G22 features a 6.52-inch Corning Gorilla Glass screen with a 20:9 aspect ratio. It also brings Android 12 off the box, with two years of OS upgrades guaranteed. The G22 is equipped with a 5,050 mAh battery that claims to last up to three days, Bluetooth 5.0, and a three-lens setup with its main camera featuring 50MP.
Nokia equipped the G22 with 4GB RAM and 2GB Virtual RAM, 64GB of internal storage, with an expandable memory card slot of up to 2TB.

Nokia's Tech Developments
After being absent in the limelight of smartphone development, Nokia is coming strong in the present, akin to its previous success in the mobile phone industry in the early 2000s. The Finnish multinational tech company came back with its touchscreen offers, powered by Android, and is now a massive smartphone brand as well.
One of the most notable offers from Nokia is the low prices for its smartphone availability in the market, across its many releases present in retail stores and the company's website.
The company is also not shy to deliver its classic lineup, reminiscent of its decades-old designs, which were the previous frontrunners in the mobile phone industry.
In terms of their Android releases, the Finland-based tech conglomerate wants people to have full access to it, reminiscent of what people enjoyed in the past with widely available parts. This is embodied by the latest Nokia G22, as revealed in the MWC, with an affordable smartphone packed with top specs but remains DIY part replacement-friendly to all.
