"Valheim," one of the most successful sandbox survival video games of 2021, will soon be available for Xbox gamers.
Next month at exactly March 14, Coffee Stain will release the game following IGN's 2023 Fan Fest announcement.
For those who are fond of playing adventure titles like this one, we expect that many players will add this video game to their growing list of games in their library.
Iron Gate Studio's 'Valheim' is Coming to Xbox
According to Kitguru, "Valheim" is still operating under Early Access despite two years of being launched from the mainstream.
Now that it has become a top-hit survival game among PC gamers, it's now time for other platform users to experience what it takes to be a Viking adventurer for a day.
Following "Valheim's" success on PC, it appears that Iron Gate will be including full crossplay support upon its release on Xbox Series X.
Before this confirmation, the game developer teased the fans with a 50-second trailer for "Valheim's" Xbox debut on March 14.
Speaking of crossplay compatibility, DualShockers reported that regardless if you're a PC or Xbox user, you can join your friends and play multiplayer quests together.
It also means that the new version will benefit both the Steam and the Microsoft Store game versions.
Is 'Valheim' Releasing a New Expansion in 2023?
Aside from the fact that it will land on the Xbox platform for the first time, Iron Gate has also hinted that there will be a new expansion coming up in late 2023.
The Viking survival game has previously dropped interesting expansions which feature new downloadable content and walkthroughs to explore.
The Swedish indie developer says that the new update will introduce new types of enemies and sidequests. We might see an extension of the current "Valheim" map across the regions.
