For many fans, this is sad news, especially since these are legacy features of the wearable maker.

Before Google completed its Fitbit acquisition in 2021, the American fitness company touted these legacy features as its major strength.

However, it seems like its plans changed as it prepares to integrate Google's technology.

This means that all the trophies that users earned will no longer be available. But, 9To5Google reported that users can rely on Fitbit points as an alternative.

These can be accessed via the Friends leaderboard and Community Feed. Aside from this, fans will need to use Fitbit's Health & Wellness forums to connect with other users.

Open Groups will also be unavailable. Fitbit users will only be able to create private groups with their friends. If you want to download your Fitbit data, then you need to do so before Mar. 27.
