David Guetta steals Eminem's voice using artificial intelligence deepfake voice in a new track he played live, dubbing it "Emin-AI-em."The French DJ, Guetta, disclosed that he used some AI tools online to use the deepfake voice of the iconic rapper in his latest track.
After doing so, he now believes that the "future of music is in AI."
David Guetta Deepfakes Eminem's Voice
The music producer and French DJ used a deepfake voice of rapper Eminem in one of his live performances, according to a report by New York Post.
These days AI is starting to shape how we do things, from making music to creating a parody of "Seinfeld."
Not to mention that OpenAI's ChatGPT is quickly taking the world by storm as Microsoft introduced the AI chatbot in its search engine, Bing, which rivals the giant platform Google.
And this time, no less than the Grammy-winning DJ Guetta is using AI in a new song.
The French DJ played a track in his live performance last February 3, wherein the crowd heard a deepfake voice of Eminem.
He says his audience cheered when they heard a voice similar to the famed rap artist.
However, Eminem never actually recorded a song with Guetta. Instead, the Grammy-winning artist boasted that he only used AI tools to include what sounds like the voice of Slim Shady.

David Guetta Learns to Use AI Tools
As per Interesting Engineering, Guetta admitted that it all started as a joke he made. But he says that "it worked so well I could not believe it!"
The French artist goes on to add that he recently "discovered these websites that are about AI."
One of the tools he got acquainted with is writing lyrics based on the style of an artist. He then asked the AI tool to "write a verse in the style of Eminem about Future Rave."
After asking an AI to write lyrics similar to how Slim Shady does it, he used another tool to "recreate" the voice of the iconic rapper.Guetta narrates that he "put the text in [AI tool], and played the record." When he played the deepfake voice of Eminem, he boasted that the "people went nuts."
It needs to be clarified if the French DJ asked Eminem for permission to deepfake the voice of the rapper.
However, the New York Post reports that Guetta says he has no plans to put out the music with the deepfake AI voice commercially.Instead, he blurted out that it opens "a conversation about how AI is going to change the music industry."
