For the past weeks, many Twitter users and enthusiasts said that they are seeing the billionaire's tweets more often.

Some of them even claimed that Musk's Twitter posts overwhelm their ranked timeline.

Now, Platformer, a news publisher that focuses on Silicon Valley, claims that Twitter engineers created a new system to boost Elon's tweets.

Elon Musk's Twitter Posts are Boosted?

According to The Verge's latest report, the issue began when U.S. President Joe Biden's tweet about Super Bowl gained more impressions than Musk's Twitter post.

In comparison, Biden's tweet generated over 29 million. On the other hand, Elon's post only generated more than 9 million impressions.

This is a huge gap between the billionaire and the American leader. Because of this, the Twitter CEO allegedly went back to the Bay Area to demand answers from Twitter engineers.

The day after their meeting, many Twitter users said that they are seeing Musk's tweets more often whenever they open the social media app.

New Twitter System Allegedly Created

The Platformer claims that Elon Musk threatened to fire the remaining Twitter employees after his Super Bowl tweet got less impressions than expected.

Because of this, Twitter engineers allegedly created a new system that can secretly boost Elon's tweets.

The source added that the billionaire called out 80 Twitter employees to work on a project, which focuses on finding solutions to why his tweets are not reaching many audiences.

The Platformer further stated that the project led to the so-called "power user multiplier," which allows Elon Musk's tweets to be boosted by a factor of 1,000.

As of writing, the billionaire and Twitter haven't shared any statement regarding the alleged system booster.

In other news, 180,000 Twitter subscribers in the U.S. were logged in December 2022 under Elon Musk.

We also reported that Twitter Blue received a new enhancement that enables users to post 4,000 characters.
