Besides, Claude's developer will also be required to use the money for Google Cloud computing resources.

Of course, Google will also have access to Claude, a new generative AI model launched to compete against ChatGPT.

As of writing, Claude is only available in closed beta via a Slack integration.

What is Claude?

TechCrunch reported that Claude is a statistical tool that works like ChatGPT.

This means that the AI model can also answer questions and predict words.

It was developed by Anthropic, a San Francisco-based startup founded by former OpenAI employees in 2021.

Anthropic designed Claude using a process called Constitutional AI.

The company explained that this process is based on concepts such as autonomy, non-maleficence, and beneficence.

The tech firm explained that the Constitutional AI process involves supervised learning and a reinforcement learning phase.

Thanks to this, Claude can share jokes and answer complicated queries about numerous topics.

But, unlike ChatGPT, Claude can make more human-like responses. As of press time, Anthropic is still refining its AI model.

The company said it would soon open Claude's beta version to more users.
