TOZO has been well-established and welcomed in countries such as the United States and Australia for many years. In 2015 the brand was registered in the US, and a branch of TOZO was set up in Seattle, later moved to the City of Industry in Los Angeles, California.
It has always committed to the development and application of quality digital products. The newest product, TOZO high-end HIFI-level TWS Golden X1 headphones, is developed by TOZO's team with years of technical advantages and research achievements.
The TOZO Golden X1 sound unit is the ideal combination of a 12mm bass/midrange dynamic speaker and a balanced armature driver. The tweeter uses a customized multi-way armature unit made by Knowles Electronics, a leading American acoustic component company founded in 1946. Knowles Sound Solutions is a leading global manufacturer of moving coil speakers and receivers for cell phones and other consumer electronics.
The TOZO team specially developed the 12mm diameter dynamic speaker with polymer composite film materials to match the tweeter. This gives the Golden X1 device a 10Hz to 44.1kHz wide frequency range and an ultra-high frequency premium micro acoustic system with high sensitivity and excellent sound quality. The frequency response is as high as 44.1kHz and as low as 10Hz.
Thanks to the exclusive OrigX sound technology developed by TOZO's acoustic experts, the Golden X1 device achieves the golden frequency response curve in line with the characteristics of the human ear canal with an original lossless sound effect.
At the same time, TOZO has in-depth cooperation with SONY to develop headphone decoding software. Using the audiophile-level LDAC HD audio-decoding technology authorized by SONY, LDAC can transmit streaming 96KHz/24bit music (also called high-resolution audio) via Bluetooth at a speed of up to 990kbps, a bit rate about three times higher than ordinary Bluetooth audio signals.
Compared to the traditional Bluetooth SBC coding technology, LDAC coding technology can achieve a higher decoding rate and significantly reduce the audio file size. It can also improve the transmission speed, preserve more details in music files, and present a live orchestral performance sound. The result is a high-definition sound source of 44.1kHz.
TOZO has cooperated with SONY to apply the LDAC high-definition decoding technology to the true wireless Bluetooth headset and obtained the Hi-Res (High-Resolution Audio) Wireless certification.
This designation is proposed and defined by SONY and recognized by the JAS (Japanese Audio Association) and the CEA (Consumer Electronics Association) for performance in exquisite music quality and original sound reproduction. The official definition of Hi-Res is "the ability to restore a full range of lossless music from music sources of higher quality than CDs." Its certification mark is the familiar "small gold standard."
The Golden X1 is also equipped with standard ANC and ENC noise cancellation function, so I'm isolated from all noises outside the game to immerse myself in the communications with my teammates and the gaming environment. The headset has six built-in microphones designed with ENC noise cancellation technology to block 80% of the background noise.
When I'm talking, the noise cancellation function is on, so the noises around can be suppressed, and the human voices are retained clearly, making phone calls easier and communications more natural and smooth, and making my voice three times clearer on the other side.
The large battery capacity can provide users with at least 32 hours of ultra-long battery life. If the headset is picked up with the cover open while wireless charging, the battery consumption status can always be checked using the Smart LED digital display.
At CES 2023, I asked TOZO staff to let me experience the noise-cancellation effects of the headset. When I put on the headset, the passive noise reduction function of the headset ear cap reduced about 60% of the ambient noise.
Then the TOZO staff turned on the ANC mode, and the noises from the environment were instantly down. It is officially stated that the noises were down as much as 35 dB. Immediately, it felt tranquil, as if I were at home so that I could listen to wonderful music even in a very noisy environment.
This is a very practical function. The TOZO APP also has built-in noise reduction modes, such as Leisure, Wind Reduction, and Transparency, and can achieve ten levels of personalized custom noise reduction effects. Suppose I want to avoid too much pressure on my ears accompanied by noise cancellation functions. In that case, I can customize the depth of noise cancellation according to your preference and meet my own needs comfortably.
At the trade show, I tried the sound effects of several different pieces of music.
When listening to "ONE I LOVE - Meav," a cappella sung by Sarah Brightman, the level of detail required to produce the perfect sound is higher. The Golden X1 can perfectly express the female singer's pure voice and high resolution.
With the high resolution brought by the combination of dynamic and armature units, the soprano was clear and transparent, with extremely rich detail. The heavy bass male voice of the climax chorus was thick and powerful. I can even hear Sarah Brightman's slight saliva sound, and the nasal breath details were evident.
When listening to Hotel California, the music produced by five different guitars playing simultaneously at the beginning was clear and real, the cry of the audience in the distance was very clear, and even the various locations of the audience were distinguishable—either from the front or back rows and from the left or right. At 00:32 into the playback, the start and end of the first drum were clear. The sound was firm, powerful, and vigorous, with the low echoing sound of the bass drum. At 02:08, when the main singer began to sing, the sound was warm and slightly husky; the sounds of air flowing through the teeth as well as the slight and short breath, were clearly distinguishable, and the main singer's voice was full and flexible.
I also listened to a clip of Transformers 4. I felt like I was on the battlefield: The cannonballs exploded just in front of me or past either side with a very crisp sound. After the shells fell on the Decepticons and exploded, the sound of debris falling on the ground and breaking was very realistic. The sound of explosions, one wave after another, created a sense of pressing. My experience was just the same as watching a movie in the cinema.
TOZO's amazing Golden X1 headset is the favorite of headset lovers, enjoying wonderful sounds at the most affordable price.
