NFL Super Bowl Halftime Show: Rihanna

NFL announced the new sponsor of its global showcase of the Halftime performances back in September 2022, with Apple Music as its new presenter. The company came after Pepsi, after decades of running the famous event amidst the Super Bowl games.

In Apple Music's first run, it chose Rihanna to headline the event, and this would be the first time that the artist will sing in front of American football fans and the league.

Apple Music Offers

Apple is known for its focus on music streaming since the early dawn of the iPods, but then, it was called iTunes where users may purchase albums to sync to their accounts. However, that changed when Cupertino rebranded it to Apple Music in 2015, and slowly, its old habits died hard, which now centers on a music streaming platform.

There were many features available on Apple Music, and it includes the famed Lossless Audio format on the app that allows its subscribers to enjoy the Apple Lossless Audio Codec or ALAC direct from streams. It also features the like of Dolby Atmos sounds, as well as spatial audio for compatible listening devices.

Its massive fame brought it the sponsorship of the NFL Super Bowl Halftime Show, despite Apple losing to Google and YouTube TV for the NFL Sunday Ticket last December. Now, the company is pooling its resources in preparation for one of the most significant events in NFL's annual championships, with offers on both the streaming app and the live event.
