Are you sick of using the same old social networking applications that only allow you to text your friends and scroll through their feeds? Look no further than Bondee, the newest and most exciting social networking platform on the market.
This new social media platform that is currently sweeping Asia looks like the result of combining the poignant simulation from "The Sims," the adorable visuals from "Animal Crossing," and the sense of community of a social media platform like Facebook. Ready for Bondee?
What Is Bondee?
Bondee, created by Singapore-based tech firm Metadream, has a distinguishing feature that sets it apart from its competitors: 3D-animated avatars that users can fully customize.
Imagine chatting with your friends and having your avatar participate in virtual activities like camping, swinging, dancing, and sailing. It's like being in a virtual world where you can be or do anything.
Bondee has quickly become one of the most popular apps in Asia since it first became available on the market this January. Users from all over the region have praised it because it can be customized to their desires and features interactive activities.

As reported by NME, it ranked top in the Social Networking category on the App Store in Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Thailand. Bondee is among the top ten apps in Japan but has yet to crack the top ten in South Korea.
How to Start with Bondee
It is easy to sign up for a Bondee account; you only need to download the app from the App Store or Google Play, create an account, and customize an avatar to reflect your personality.
One of the best features of Bondee is the ability to add friends to chat with and participate in virtual activities. Bondee provides a unique and exciting way to connect with others, whether catching up with old friends or making new ones. You can even design your rooms with furniture and accessories to take your virtual experience to the next level.
Aside from standard texting options, there are also customized emojis and actions that affect both users in a game chat (think Facebook customized avatar emojis).
Users can even use a sailing function to send their avatars out into the digital world and meet random users to befriend. Bondee currently allows you to add up to 50 friends.
Is Bondee Free-to-play?
While Bondee is free to download, B-Beans requires in-app purchases. You can use these to buy virtual outfits, furniture, and accessories for your avatar or room. The app also offers a limited free trial for some outfits, which may have to be purchased using B-Beans once the trial period expires.
