YouTube Music is down for some users, confirms the Google music streaming service.
Initially, the outage began at the Library and Explore tabs, as well as the Home feed.
The issue has eventually gotten worse, making these affected sections of YouTube Music completely blank for web, Android, and iOS users.
YouTube Music Goes Down for Some Users
As per a recent report by 9to5 Google, YouTube Music is grappling with a partial, yet widespread outage, affecting iOS, Android, and web users in various parts of the world.
The outage began at the Explore and Library tabs of the Google streaming service, preventing users from accessing them as they became completely blank.
At first, the Home feed worked slightly better than the two aforementioned tabs. But, later on, the outage took down its feed as well.
9to5 Google further notes in its report that users could still stream the songs they want to listen to. However, the song and artist information is nowhere to be seen for some users. So they would have to guess which song is playing unless they are familiar with it.
On top of that, the outage also affected the artist and album pages on the music streaming service. When users try to visit these pages, they are welcomed with a message that says, "there was a problem with the server [429]."
YouTube Says Home Tab is Down
Android Police reports that YouTube Music has already acknowledged the current outage, pointing out that the Home feed is down for some users.
The official Twitter account of Team YouTube tweeted that it "looks like [YouTube Music] Home is down for some of you at the moment."
The Twitter post did not mention what caused the Home tab to be down for some folks. Despite that, YouTube says that they are already working on a fix.
The YouTube Music Help Community acknowledged that the service began to be wonky at roughly 1:50 pm Pacific Time (PST) on January 24, Tuesday. It further noted that the Playlist tab remains accessible, allowing users to play some tunes, albeit missing song and artist information while playing.

Any Fixes for YouTube Music's Outage?
As mentioned, YouTube is still working on fixing the issue at hand. However, 9to5 Google reports that Library and Explore tabs for some users are starting to go back online. Yet, the Home feed is still experiencing some issues.
In the meantime, YouTube Music users could listen to their downloaded songs offline without issues.
On the other hand, other YouTube services remain online, including YouTube.com and YouTube TV.
