The update also includes new weapon sounds, bug fixes, and tweaks to improve the gameplay experience.

"Fast and Low," the tactical shooter virtual reality game, has been given a major update, reports. Fast and Low is available on all platforms. The update, including new maps, improved sound design, and customization options, will delight game fans.

Latest 'Fast and Low' Update

One of the most interesting new features of the update is the introduction of two bonus maps, which players can find in the Mission Select Screen's "Bonus Missions" section.

In these maps, officers Faust and Lo are tasked with investigating the bubble Wave Cafe, a cozy jazz club with a mysterious past. Another bonus map, Techno Showdown, allows players to explore the downtown core and enjoy its lively nightlife.

The update also includes improved voice work, courtesy of "Hamsterfactz," who contributed a slew of new lines for the male and female civilians and the Flamingo enemy types.

Furthermore, thanks to the new Height Offset Option, which players can find on the Avatar Customization page, players can now adjust their height in-game. This new feature is handy for VR players who have problems with their Steamvr settings.

Other notable new features include the addition of new weapon sounds for the AK, Tec, G36, and Glock, as well as the resolution of sight and ADS issues for FPS players when using Shotguns. Other bug fixes and tweaks to improve the overall gameplay experience are also included in the update.

About 'Fast and Low'

For those unfamiliar with "Fast and Low," it is a first-person shooter designed from the ground up for room-scale virtual reality.

It provides several free-movement options, including arm-swinging and touch-pad locomotion, which can be customized via the menu board.

In addition, the game includes realistic weapon handling, local asymmetric multiplayer, and online multiplayer for up to four players.

Each "Fast and Low" mission has bonus objectives that allow players to unlock new weapons and perks to improve their crime-fighting abilities.

In addition, for unlocked missions, there is a free-play mode that allows players to adjust the number of civilians or hostiles in the mission to increase or decrease the challenge.

"Fast and Low" enemies take locational damage and react accordingly. For example, shooting a hostile's arm will render them unarmed, while shooting one of their legs will render them crippled. Because each limb has its health bar, players will never be able to kill an opponent by shooting them in the foot.

The game also allows you to tone down the violence, with the character "gibbing" disabled entirely. Fast and Low's goal is to create a violent, tactical first-person shooter game set in a colorful cartoon world, where weapons strongly impact when fired and feel very over-the-top.

The game currently has 'Very Positive' reviews on Steam. Check out the game here.
