There are rumors surrounding "Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0" now, claiming that the game lost player counts and that its rate is declining at the present. Activision Blizzard and Infinity Ward's latest battle royale game is speculated to have a significant down from gamers, especially because of what it offers that is somehow not that much appealing to gamers.
Still, the reason remains unknown regarding this decline, and if it is what the free-for-all game is currently experiencing in the present.
'Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0' Sees Player Count Decline
Famous rumor monger, Charlie Intel, said that there were multiple talks regarding the decline in the player count for "Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0," over the recent break. And this is not a normal decline, as it is at a higher rate than expected by the company, its developers, and publishers, for the modern battle royale title.
Still, the analyst said that they hope for a future update that will make the game better. Additionally, this information remains unclear as to what it will bring for the game's future.
It is unknown how long "Warzone 2.0" would last as the franchise's online battle royale, as its predecessor ran for more than two years before getting its sequel title.
'Warzone 2.0' Is it Not that Good like 'Warzone 1'?
According to a separate thread by Charlie Intel, there is a massive difference between "Warzone 1" and "Warzone 2.0."
In "Warzone 1," Charlie Intel claimed that it is more experimental and fun, delivering new experiences and features in the battle royale space, unlike "Warzone 2.0" which is like a typical BR.
Moreover, the analyst said that "Warzone 1's" player count benefitted because of the pandemic's lockdown, but still claims that it was "fresh and fun."
'Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0'
The "Call of Duty" franchise is still one of the most famous action shooter games in the gaming industry present, and it delivered game refreshes, updates, remakes, and more to all. One of its latest releases, "Warzone 2.0" received significant backlash on its first release, with Dr.Disrespect, a famed YouTuber, claiming that it is "already dead."
While many argue of the game is not as good as the original release during the 2020 pandemic when people are on lockdown, there are still compelling points as to why they prefer the first version.
Despite its anti-hacking and cheat the system, "Warzone 2" gamers saw hackers that employ a flying boat across the map and use it to their advantage to get ahead of others.
Moreover, there is a bug in the system where gamers who get as many as 10 kills in a single match get kicked out and are regarded as "cheaters," using a system to their advantage. Currently, one of the issues the "Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0" experiences is an alleged decline in players, and it may stem from people not liking this version of the battle royale.
However, for what it's worth, this is only a rumor and has not yet been confirmed by its developers.
