Open-metaverse digital fashion platform has major product launch on the horizon
Following the successful launch of its digital fashion open-metaverse complete with a sensational runway show, ORTHO continues working towards its founder Xno Bui's vision to bridge the gap between physical and virtual fashion.
Xno, a visionary in both fashion and metaverse technology, envisions a future society where our physical and virtual selves converge. Her greatest ambition for ORTHO is for it to become an equitable and inclusive fashion innovation-centered community. Before founding ORTHO, she spent more than 15 years building user experiences for both physical and virtual products. Her work spans multiple aspects of design, from interior to fashion to Web3 user experience and branding. Under her leadership, ORTHO has risen to the vanguard of fashion innovation, solidifying its position as an industry pioneer with a major debut fashion show event and upcoming garment launch.
Taking great inspiration from Xno's grand vision, ORTHO is making industry-leading strides by bridging the gap between the realm of physical fashion and its highly regarded digital counterpart. Hence, its collaboration with renowned Vietnamese fashion designer Le Thanh Hoa (LTH) created the high-profile fashion show named "AN" (peace) last October. The event demonstrated how real and virtual can intertwine, delivering a unique experience and enjoying tremendous success in both physical and digital spaces with over 1,000 attended the metaverse runway on Spatial. 200 exclusive guests received invitations in the form of non-fungible tokens (NFT) cocoons, with six lucky holders receiving exclusive NFTs redeemable for the physical silk dresses belonging to the "AN" collection.
The success of the collaboration between ORTHO and LTH is a hallmark of its journey, building upon recent forays into a fashion-forward metaverse, led by industry titans such as Nike and Balenciaga. ORTHO is taking a giant leap forward with its upcoming project - ORTHO's Garments with NFC technology.
This aligns with ORTHO's core vision and mission to drive "Unfakeable Identity" and preserve uniqueness and originality. By integrating NFC chips to its garments, brands will be better equipped to fight counterfeiters while also opening up new channels of communication with their customers.
Fashion and technology both provide people with unique ways to express their individuality. But with the rise of digital fashion in the metaverse, proving authenticity has become a challenging obstacle. ORTHO caters to forward-thinking fashion curators, collectors, tastemakers, and fashionistas who understand the importance of authenticity and seek to promote it with secured ownership.
