Apple's iPhone 15 Pro models might cost more than the iPhone 14 Pro as a recent rumor predicts a potential price increase.
With that, the pricing of the next-generation iPhone Pro offerings likely starts at over $1,000.
Apple iPhone 15 Pro Price Increase
A post on Weibo now points out a potential price increase for the iPhone 15 Pro models, as per the latest report by Mac Rumors.
As such, when the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max debut this year, they could likely be more expensive than their current offerings of Apple.
It is worth noting that the iPhone 14 Pro models currently start at less than $1,000. The iPhone 14 Pro retails for $999. On the other hand, iPhone 14 Pro Max, which could likely be called the "iPhone 15 Ultra," sells for $1,099.
With that, if the iPhone 15 Pro lineup is seeing a price hike, they would surely go beyond the $1,000 starting price. However, it remains to be seen how much the increase will be if ever Apple is actually proceeding with it.
According to Phone Arena, the upcoming Pro models might be $100 more expensive than the current pricing based on previous predictions.
The online news outlet notes that previous rumors suggest that the giant is planning on increasing the pricing of the higher-end iPhone 14 lineup by roughly $100. But instead, Apple decided to retain its price tag.
iPhone 15: All Models with Dynamic Island?
The recent Weibo post also sheds light on what Apple fanboys could expect from its upcoming mobile devices.
Mac Rumors reports that the Weibo leak claims that all iPhone 15 models are getting the Dynamic Island feature, which is now only available on the higher-end variants.
It means that the entry-level iPhone 15 and the iPhone 15 Plus could potentially ditch the notch. These mobile devices are reportedly gaining better shooting prowess as well, thanks to an upgraded 48-megapixel camera.
iPhone 16 Under-Display Face ID
On top of that, a recent news story from GSM Arena reports that the under-display Face ID is coming to the iPhone 16 Pro models.
With that, it looks like the renowned tech firm is working on releasing an iPhone that sports a full-screen display without the notch and the Dynamic Island.
If rumors were to be believed, the notch is bidding farewell as the iPhone 15 series debuts. And by next year, the iPhone 16 Pro models are ditching the Dynamic Island for a more seamless look.
