Xbox, Bethesda Showcase for 'Redfall,' 'Forza' and MORE

Euro Gamer reports that reliable leaker, Jez Corden, now claims that Microsoft is gearing up to air an intimate Xbox showcase before January ends.

It potentially puts the shimmer of the spotlight on gaming titles like the action spin-off "Minecraft Legends" and the latest iteration of "Forza Motorsport." The showcase would also include updates on the long-delayed first-shooter game, "Redfall."

Besides these games, the upcoming showcase might also shed light on the upcoming content of ZeniMax Online Studios.

Essentially, Corden is saying that the "intimate" showcase concentrates on the future offerings of Xbox and Bethesda. Given that, it should give us a glimpse of the upcoming first-party titles for 2023. He cites unnamed sources reportedly close to Microsoft.

Xbox Developer Direct

The leaker further disclosed that the game showcase for games like "Redfall" aptly goes by the name "Xbox Developer Direct."

And Corden says that it might air in a few weeks. It should reportedly go live on January 25 at noon Pacific Time (PT).

So it looks like the long wait is finally over. After several days, updates for much-awaited games like "Minecraft Legends" and "Forza Motorsport" might finally see the light of day. We might just get an idea of what Xbox offers us for 2023.

The Developer Direct will most likely stream live on the official platforms of Xbox, including YouTube and Twitch.

However, do take this with a grain of salt as Microsoft has yet to officially announce its Xbox and Bethesda showcase. Given that this tackles games that are still in the works, delays are inevitable. Given that, it might be pushed back to a much later date.

The January 2023 Showcase of Xbox and Bethesda might skip the long-awaited RPG game.

Press Start further notes in its report that the upcoming showcase is set to be more intimate than Nintendo Direct showcases. So it might only include some of the most-awaited games for Xbox gamers.
