Cooler Master showcases its new line of gaming peripherals as it ventures toward a new market of gamers.
With a variety of new lights, mics, keyboards, and headphones, Cooler Master is pushing beyond its core business of computer components and gaming peripherals into enthusiast niches, streaming, and content creation.
The company showcased its venture from the typical gaming equipment it has produced for the past 30 years at the recent CES 2023. If the new gaming peripherals line becomes a success, Cooler Master may become a name recognized by the gaming community as a reliable brand.
Cooler Master To Focus on Streaming Accessories Line
Cooler Master has refocused its efforts on gaming peripherals and narrowed in on three specialized markets as it approaches its 30th anniversary, according to Silicon Valley. The first category consists of keyboard enthusiasts, followed by content creators and streamers, and hobby collectors.
The tech brand debuts its new line which includes flagships Stream Lux, Lucid, and Origins to bring trusted gear for streamers. XDA-Developers reports that three new peripherals make up Cooler Master's new array of products specifically created for streamers. The final product for streamers is the Stream Lucid, a USB-C mic that is all about high-quality audio and has a built-in filter to reduce background noises like static.
Meanwhile, Stream Lux is a full-spectrum LED light perfect for illuminating streamers and content creators. In any case, the Stream Lucid, a USB-C microphone with an integrated filter to eliminate popping and static, may be used without lights to transmit sound clearly.
Finally, you can record your games using Stream Origins, a USB capture device that advertises as plug-and-play and can capture video in quality up to 4K 60fps HDR.
Cooler Master Developed Peripherals For Keyboard Enthusiasts
In addition to the new streaming line, Cooler Master debuted new gaming peripherals, such as the MK770 Keyboard. The MK770 might be worth considering if you are a keyboard enthusiast who needs a number pad.
Hot Hardware reports that the main selling point of this keyboard is that it sports Cooler Master's first-ever gasket-mount design. Even though it features a 3-way wheel that resembles a useful volume knob, it has functionalities that may be changed with software.
Additionally, the MK770 will support Bluetooth 5.1 or 2.4GHz wireless networking for up to three devices. Keyboard fans may dig out their cable coils for this one because it can also be connected through a USB-C cable. The battery in the smartphone is 4000mAh.
This new board will contain hot swappable switches, silicone padding and fill, and pre-lubricated CM stabilizers, which are nice, just like the excellent Cooler Master CK720. It includes Kailh Box V2 Switches, which are superior to those found on most keyboards.
The PBT keycaps on the MK770 are similar to those on its smaller sibling, but this time they are available in four colors, with the most intriguing one featuring hues drawn from the anime Attack on Titan.
