LG OLED TV lineup for 2023 is much brighter than its previous offerings, up to a staggering 70 percent improvement.
The South Korean tech giant also improves the webOS, making it simpler and smarter than ever. Besides these upgrades, LG boasts a couple of new refinements for its TV offerings this year.
LG OLED TVs (2023) Brighter Display
As per the latest report by Engadget, the new OLED TV lineup of LG for 2023 notably comes with a brighter display. The renowned tech firm is serious about keeping up with well-lit situations.
So if your living room or bedroom gets tons of natural lighting, the new TV sets might do well with their impressive brightness performance.
With this, users can easily watch their favorite shows or movies without closing the windows or blinds.
It also makes it more convenient for casual viewing sessions like binging YouTube videos. Viewers no longer have to make their rooms dark to check out the trending clip on the video-sharing service.
LG touts that its G3 TV series offers up to 70 percent brighter display, making sure that it would be well-lit even in daytime sessions.
To make it possible, the tech giant is introducing a new feature and technology for its 2023 offerings allowing its TVs to support a brighter overall picture.
How Brightness Booster Max Feature Works
According to a news story by The Verge, the new G3 series sports a new technology to improve its brightness capability this time.
LG says the new series comes with "brand-new light control architecture and light-boosting algorithm to increase brightness by up to 70 percent."
Apart from the new technology, Engadget reports that the new Brightness Booster Max feature tweaks the brightness of its G3 series TVs per pixel.
Simpler UI for webOS 23
But that is not all. LG is also upgrading its webOS for 2023.
Engadget notes it appears that the South Korean giant is aware that its TV interface is somewhat cluttered for some users.
Given that, the tech giant announced that the all-new webOS 23 rocks a simpler overall design.
This time, the new interface trims down the scrolling of its users to merely two pages of app content. To do so, the upcoming version comes with fewer categories, to begin with.
On top of that, the upgrade also brings smarter recommendations, which should be personalized to the preference of its users. To avoid AI suggestions getting all mixed up, LG is also introducing personal profiles.
