iPhone SE 4 is the latest subject of rumors following claims that it will feature a similar design that we have seen from the 2018 iPhone XR.
According to the reports, the leak initially came from Jon Prosser, a well-known tech tipster.
iPhone SE 4 Design is Taken From iPhone XR
As Macrumors writes in its recent article, the fourth-generation iPhone SE might sport a strikingly-similar design to the iPhone XR.
This pattern is somewhat possible given that Apple based the design of the first-released iPhone SE on the iPhone 5S, which was launched in 2013.
Another example of why it can happen is that the appearance of the iPhone 8 inspired the design of the iPhone SE 2 and 3.
This is not the first time the iPhone SE 4 has become a centerpiece of leaks this year.
Regarding a similar concern with its design, MyDrivers, a Chinese news site, claimed that the said smartphone model could adopt an XR-styled look upon its official release. It appears that this information is now connected to the newest leak about the fourth-generation iPhone SE 4.
Aside from sporting a somewhat identical design to the previous iPhone model, the iPhone SE 4 is expected to arrive with a "notch" cutout on its 6.1-inch screen.
This prediction was correct from Ming-Chi Kuo's forecast back in 2019. The prominent tech analyst stated that the upcoming iPhone Se will feature the said display size along with a notch.

Rumored iPhone SE 4 Cancellation
This week, XDA Developers reported that Apple could possibly neglect the production of the iPhone SE 4. According to the report, the Cupertino tech firm saw that the previous SE model displayed poor sales performance over the past year.
Furthermore, some fans believed that the iPhone maker allegedly canceled iPhone SE 4's release because it wanted to retain the high-end phones only.
In doing so, the company might ditch the mid-range handsets, which in this case is the iPhone SE 4. The same thing goes for Google, as far as the leak is concerned.
As the leak says, the search engine firm won't be releasing two Pixel Pro smartphones anytime soon because it's gradually "scaling back" to mid-range variants.
If this is true, then we won't see any Pixel Pro phones in the next two years. We can only look for the Pixel 8a, which could hit the market by 2024 or later.
In this case, it won't be the flagship killer that anyone expects. Fortunately, this could be the perfect phone for people who want to save some money for mid-range units.
