VIRAL: DKOldies Sold Rapper Lil Yachty A Massive Collection of Retro Games for 5 Different Consoles

Lil Yachty was surely good this Christmas with his order from DKOldies.

Whether one is alive in the early days of gaming or is only buying games now, people still save up to get their preferred titles, especially now that there is a massive boost in popularity for retro games. One of the top destinations for this is DKOldies, a retro games store that also shares content online, which recently went viral for their video about Lil Yachty's massive purchase in their collection.

Whether Lil Yachty is making music or rolling through the town in his fresh new whip, at the end of the day, he is still a massive fan of retro games, with his collection now growing with this DKOldies order.

DKOldies' recent upload fulfilled a request from a massive American rapper who requested that his order be filmed by the company. This order is from Lil Yachty, who went to the comments section in a previous video and gave his order number for a feature.

The company happily made a video for Lil Yachty's order, focusing on a massive collection of retro games for five different consoles.

One of the most iconic titles here is "Donkey Kong Country" in immaculate condition, with the game and its manual in a brand new state.

Other titles include "Halo," "NBA JAM," "Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2," "Marvel vs Capcom 2," "Mortal Kombat," "Spider-Man," "Star Wars: Battlefront 2," "SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom," "Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2," and more.

Yachty purchased games for five consoles including the Xbox, PlayStation 1, SEGA Genesis, SEGA Dreamcast, and the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES).

With this massive purchase, DKOldies also threw in "Sonic Adventures" for the SEGA All-Stars console for free.

DKOldies' Retro Games and its Boxing

DKOldies is a famous online store for retro games, and the company offers its content on its online platforms like Instagram to show the process of receiving orders and showing off its quality games. The company gained massive fame for its boxing videos of iconic orders, instead of the usual unboxing from content creators.

Retro Gaming in the Modern Times

Whether people argue that 8-bit or 16-bit titles are outdated, there are still enthusiasts, collectors, and avid gaming fans that want to get a hold of these titles.

Even Nintendo and Game Freak's "Pokemon FireRed Version" sold for several thousands of dollars in an auction for a sealed, pristine condition copy of the game.

Back in 2019, one of the most sought-after retro games in the market went up for sale, and this is the famous Nintendo franchise, with a vintage cartridge of "The Legend of Zelda." The original game sold for a record-breaking $870,000, with the item being a sealed copy of the first-edition release for the American region's NES console.

People who kept their games from the past are reaping the rewards now, especially as most of the past titles are considered vintage, especially for the massive franchises in the world.

DKOldies surely is a trusted retro store that already saw massive recognition before, now fulfilling an order for Lil Yachty, with the rapper satisfied with his retro games this holiday.
