Steam's annual Winter sale is live alongside its highly-anticipated Awards voting for several game categories.

The official start of voting for The Steam Awards 2022 went live last Dec. 22 and will end on Jan. 3. Additionally, Steam has released the list of PC game nominees who are chosen for each major game category.

Niche Gamer reports that Elden Ring is one of the main contenders for the Game of the Year award on Steam, much like The Game Awards, although there are still some formidable competitors, such as Stray as a popular choice.

Steam Awards 2022: How to Vote for Each Game Category

The Steam Awards are currently open to all non-limited accounts. You will receive one random Steam Awards Trading Card for each category you vote in, which you can either keep and enjoy forever or sell to earn a small credit toward your subsequent Steam purchase.

To cast your vote, simply go to the official Steam Awards website, sign into your Steam account, and go to the Store page. From there, users can click the Steam Awards banner and cast their vote on each game category.
