PlayStation Plus January 2023 PS5 and PS4 free games have leaked, giving gamers an idea of what to expect as the new year approaches.
Even before Sony got to announce the three free games in the first month of next year, we now got a look at these PS5 and PS4 offerings early on.
PlayStation Plus January 2023 PS5, PS4 Free Games Leak
As per the latest report by Game Rant, the same happened with the December 2022 game offerings of the Sony PlayStation Plus subscription service. The free titles leaked ahead of the official announcement.
For the holiday season, PS4 and PS5 gamers got their hands on hit offerings like "Mass Effect Legendary Edition," "Divine Knockout," and "Biomutant." The Japanese gaming giant offered these titles free of charge to the members of its PS Plus service.
For the rest of 2022, Sony has been offering several free games that their players enjoyed. Every month, PS Plus users get their hands on at least three titles, Game Rant notes in its report.
And the tradition looks to be carrying on until the next year or in 2023.
A well-known leaker billbil-kun disclosed the free games coming to the service next year to PS4 and PS5 gamers.
According to a news story by Comicbook.com, the leak claims that games like "Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order" are coming to the gaming subscription service this January.
Besides the 2019 Star Wars game, the free offerings include "Fallout 79" and "Axiom Verge 2."
The leaker specifically notes that the PS4 version of "Fallout 4" is coming to the service next year.
On the other hand, PS5 players are getting the compatible versions of "Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order" and "Axiom Verge 2" once they start rolling out next year.
Available Until February?
Comicbook.com notes in its report that these upcoming PS Plus games are seeing the light of day starting January 3.
It looks like these titles are staying free in the service for more than a month. The leak says that they will be available until February 7.
But as early as January 3, you can already get your hands on these games. So you do not have to wait until February before experiencing these exciting offerings. After all, they are free as long as you are subscribed to PS Plus.
However, it is worth noting that Sony has yet to confirm this set of free titles. So as we approach the new year, this might still change. Keep your tabs here at Tech Times to be updated.
