Famous YouTuber and online personality, MrBeast, has expressed his willingness and interest in taking on one of the most sought-after jobs today, and it is to lead Twitter as its CEO.
And while there are no concrete decisions or statements yet from Elon Musk that there will be a change in the social media's leadership, there seems to be some consideration for the content creator.
Is Elon Musk Considering MrBeast as Twitter CEO?
In a new tweet from Jimmy Donaldson, a.k.a. MrBeast, he asked his followers about his capabilities to take on the role of the Twitter CEO, amidst the search for a new one by Elon Musk.
While MrBeast did not tag Musk in his tweet or talked to him directly on the short-word social media platform, Chief Twit replied to this statement.
Here, the tech billionaire said that "It's not out of the question," and this could only mean that MrBeast is a consideration to be its next leader.
There was no more information after that, and as vague as this event may be, there is still something that was implied here, and it is Musk's quest to find Twitter's new leader.
Who Will be Twitter's Next Leader?
Presently, Chief Twit did not yet name any possible or outstanding candidates who will succeed him in the role of leading the company when he departs. After losing the poll which asked the public whether he should stay or go as its leader, Musk officially announced his future resignation.
However, it will only happen if he finds the right person for the job, one that is willing and foolish to take on this task.
Twitter and Musk's Leadership
Twitter has gone through a lot, from its early days of 140 characters per tweet, down to the internet's centralization which involved the platform, as revealed by co-founder and former CEO Jack Dorsey. Still, the massive changes on the platform took place under Musk, despite his goal to bring back Twitter's former glory with free speech for all.
Chief Twit's leadership centers on making Twitter an open platform, one that will allow people to freely speak their minds, as long as it does not violate any laws.
And while that is happening now, with many using the platform to expose insider information like the infamous "Twitter Files," and other topics, there are still other problems online.
The tech CEO even went as far as to say that he will allow these information to expose the hidden data on the platform, including Dorsey's previous management of Twitter.
After the results of the poll talking about the billionaire's resignation as CEO, an alleged search for its next leader is taking place, with Musk waiting for someone "foolish enough" to assume the role. As far as Lex Freidman, MrBeast is the only other personality who expressed their interest in leading the platform, with Musk implying that there is some consideration for the content creator.
